Katanax X-300 Multifision Fusion Fluxer

The Katanax X-300 is a three-position electric fusion fluxer designed for moderate-throughput sample preparation for XRF and ICP analysis. It automates each step of the fusion workflow — including heating, mixing, pouring, and cooling — to deliver consistent, reproducible results with minimal technician intervention. Fusion of milled sample material with flux reagent takes place at high temperatures inside inert platinum sample crucibles, producing homogeneous glass beads for XRF or solutions for ICP analysis. The X-300 can be ordered in 1, 2, or 3 position configurations, and can later be expanded in the field since the unit is pre-wired for 3 positions. It features heating elements resistant to flux and chemical attacks, along with Dynamic Temperature Profile (DTP) control and automatic power calibration that maintain excellent temperature uniformity.
